"Get nine women to make one baby in one month"

The quote was from Kathy Schwalbe's IT Project Management Book. The phrase wanna say that it is imposibble to get nine women together in a place, ask them to make one baby, in a giving period of one month. Human resources cannot easily substitutable. This gives us a knowledge for resource needs and consumptions. When a job is seems too hard for a person to do, it does not usually a right solution to add another person to do the same job. Each person has their specialization. Okay, it might be working on a mass production in manufacturing, where each person doing exactly the same job in a time. But when jobs are more specialized, you can put someone to do other's work and hoping that the job will be finished faster.

Hohoho, just like me right now. I've assigned to a project which the programmer was Me, Myself, and I. I am lonely programmer ;-) When my boss give me an aid with other programmer's help, it doesn't fit at all. Because the other programmer's skill is different (read: higher) than me, and don't know much (read:advanced) about the programming languange I used. It doesn't help at all to make the project finishes faster.

Feel like crashed by plane these days. Two big deadlines are waiting. I concern more on my thesis. If I don't meet the time, I got to pay more for an extended semester. Tonight will determined whether I can find solution for my thesis analysis or not. I have made one solution two weeks ago, but my mentor said that I can't go through that way. I got to analyze it with another way of mind. It makes me crazy. And about the other deadline, my project on work, it still stuck on syntaxes. Can't insert a row to a table with foreign key to other table. Can't fall asleep for the latest days, and got a serious illness on my tonsil. Doctor said: "sub critical tonsilitic"
Just pray and pray more. Hope and never stop hoping.
